Event Details:

As part of the Golden Spike Days Festival, please join us for great music, family fun, and creative crafts as Port Moody celebrates Canada Day!

  • From 10am to 5pm, enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities at Pop-Up City Hall. Play sports and games with our energetic Recreation staff, grab some Port Moody swag, and enter to win a summer fun gift basket filled with items from local businesses. Get creative in the City of the Arts and design a button, magnet, or spin art. We’ll also be handing out cookies – stop by for your sugar fix while supplies last.

  • At 1pm, Port Moody’s Mayor and Council celebrate Canada on the PCT Performance Stage with a community ceremony, complete with local entertainment.

  • At 8:30pm, the City presents 54-40 as the headline performer at the Golden Spike Days Festival at the PCT Performance Stage. Whether they’re playing old favourites like “I Go Blind” and “Ocean Pearl” or newer songs like “Sucker for Your Love” or “’Embassy Supreme,” 54-40 is sure to entertain you. The band has been recording and performing for more than 40 years, leaving their mark on the Canadian cultural landscape.
